Chocolate Crinkles

We make these cookies every year to leave for Santa Clause. The recipe is easy enough that the kids can help and they always end up tasting delicious. Santa loves them too because he never leaves any leftover.

1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cup flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Powdered sugar

Mix oil, chocolate and granulated sugar. Blend in one egg at a time until well mixed. Add vanilla. Measure flour by dipping method* and stir together with baking powder and salt. Add to oil mixture. Chill overnight. Heat oven to 350 F.

Drop teaspoonfuls of dough into powdered sugar. Roll into balls. Place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
